A crisp and refreshing fall cocktail that combines the zing of ginger beer with the warmth of apple cider, vodka, and a hint of cinnamon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 4 ounces fresh apple cider
  • 4 ounces ginger beer
  • Juice of half a lime (about 1 tablespoon or 15 ml)
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • Ice
  • Optional garnishes: fresh apple slices, cinnamon stick, sprig of rosemary

Instructions

  1. Start by filling your copper mugs (or glasses) halfway with ice.
  2. Pour 2 ounces (60 ml) of vodka into each mug. If you prefer a lighter drink, reduce the vodka to 1 ounce (30 ml).
  3. Add 4 ounces (120 ml) of fresh apple cider to the mug.
  4. Squeeze in the juice of half a lime (about 1 tablespoon or 15 ml).
  5. Top off the mug with 4 ounces (120 ml) of ginger beer. Adjust the amount to suit your taste.
  6. Stir gently with a bar spoon to combine all the ingredients.
  7. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top for a warm, autumnal touch.
  8. Add your garnishes: slide a fresh apple slice onto the rim, drop in a cinnamon stick, or add a rosemary sprig.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Apple Cider Moscow Mule!

Notes

[‘Chill your mugs in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving to keep your drink icy cold longer.’, ‘Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor.’, ‘Experiment with different ginger beer brands to find your preferred flavor profile.’, ‘You can make a mocktail version by omitting the vodka.’]
