Juicy smoked kielbasa slices are coated in a sticky, tangy apricot glaze and baked until caramelizedβ€”an easy, crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for parties, holidays, or game nights. This sweet and savory bite comes together in under 30 minutes with simple pantry ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16 oz) smoked kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 1 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (or 1 small clove fresh garlic, minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley or sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Slice kielbasa into 1/2-inch thick rounds (about 24–28 pieces).
  3. Arrange kielbasa slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together apricot preserves, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  5. Brush or spoon half the glaze over the kielbasa slices.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes, until the glaze bubbles and sausage plumps.
  7. Flip each slice with tongs or a spatula. Brush the remaining glaze over the other side.
  8. Bake for another 8–10 minutes, until glaze is caramelized and edges are slightly crisp. (Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes for extra char, watching closely.)
  9. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with parsley or green onions. Serve warm with toothpicks.

Notes

For gluten-free, use tamari or coconut aminos and certified gluten-free sausage. Try peach or pineapple preserves for a twist. Broil briefly for extra caramelization. Can be made ahead and baked just before serving. Air fryer works for small batches at 390Β°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.
