Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or 2%)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp chives, finely sliced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tsp fresh tarragon, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • Pinch of smoked paprika or crushed red pepper (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  1. Let the cream cheese sit out for 20-30 minutes until soft and spreadable. (Or microwave for 10 seconds if in a hurry.)
  2. Wash and finely chop the parsley, chives, dill, basil, and tarragon.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the chopped herbs, lemon juice, minced garlic, kosher salt, and black pepper. Stir until the herbs are evenly distributed. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Optional: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Spoon the dip into a serving bowl. Garnish with extra herbs or lemon zest if desired. Serve with fresh vegetables.
  7. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Stir before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving. Mix and match herbs based on what’s fresh. For a lighter dip, substitute more Greek yogurt for the sour cream or cream cheese. To make dairy-free, use plant-based alternatives. If the dip is too thick, add a splash of milk or yogurt; if too thin, add more cream cheese or chill to thicken.
