A creamy, cheesy, and spicy jalapeño popper dip topped with crispy bacon, perfect for parties and casual get-togethers. This dip balances heat, creaminess, and crunch for an irresistible snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 medium jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 2 stalks green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes, flipping occasionally. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
  2. Finely chop jalapeños (remove seeds to reduce heat) and thinly slice green onions.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with mayonnaise until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper gently until combined.
  5. Fold in chopped jalapeños and sliced green onions evenly. Add fresh lime juice if desired and mix.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly into an 8×8-inch baking dish or similar oven-safe dish.
  7. Sprinkle crumbled crispy bacon evenly over the top.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and bacon is golden.
  9. Optional: Broil for 1-2 minutes for a browned top, watching carefully to avoid burning.
  10. Let the dip rest for 5 minutes before serving to set.

Notes

Soften cream cheese well before mixing to avoid lumps. Remove jalapeño seeds to control heat. Cook bacon slowly over medium heat for crispiness. Fold ingredients gently to maintain texture. Serve warm but not piping hot. Save some bacon bits for garnish after baking if desired.
