  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary blend)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded whole-milk mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional toppings: pepperoni slices, sliced olives, diced bell peppers, mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice each mini bagel in half horizontally and arrange cut-side up on the baking sheet.
  3. Brush the cut sides lightly with olive oil.
  4. Toast the bagels in the oven for 5-7 minutes until edges are golden and surface feels dry and slightly firm.
  5. Mix the tomato sauce with Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
  6. Remove bagels from oven and spoon about 1 tablespoon of seasoned tomato sauce onto each half, spreading evenly.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella generously over the sauce, then sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Add any optional toppings like pepperoni, olives, or bell peppers.
  9. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly browned.
  10. Remove from oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving.
