These easy no-bake Oreo balls combine crushed Oreo cookies with creamy cream cheese for a quick, indulgent sweet snack perfect for any occasion. Ready in under 5 minutes, they are a crowd-pleaser and require no oven.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo Cookies, crushed (about 3 cups finely crushed)
  • 8 ounces (225 grams) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (175 grams) semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
  • Optional toppings: sprinkles, crushed nuts, sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos using a food processor or place in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin until finely crushed but not powdery (about 3-5 minutes).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the crushed Oreos and mix thoroughly until uniform and sticky.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch (2.5 cm) balls using your hands or a small cookie scoop, yielding about 24-30 balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth, or melt over a double boiler on low heat.
  6. Drizzle or dip the chilled Oreo balls in the melted chocolate using a fork or spoon. Optionally, sprinkle toppings immediately after drizzling.
  7. Return the balls to the fridge for 30 minutes to set the chocolate before serving or storing.

Notes

Use softened cream cheese at room temperature for easier mixing. Do not over-crush Oreos to maintain texture. Chill thoroughly to ensure balls hold shape when drizzled with chocolate. Melting chocolate in short bursts prevents burning. Optional toppings add color and texture. Can substitute gluten-free Oreos or dairy-free cream cheese for dietary needs.
