  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Peeling is optional but helps create a smoother texture.
  2. Using a mandoline or sharp knife, slice the sweet potatoes into thin rounds, approximately 1/8-inch thick.
  3. Place the slices in a mixing bowl and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. In a separate small bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the sweet potato slices. Toss gently to ensure each slice is coated.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  7. Arrange the sweet potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overlapping to ensure even crisping.
  8. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through. Keep an eye on them in the last few minutes to avoid burning.
  9. Once golden and crispy, remove the chips and let them cool for 2-3 minutes (they’ll crisp up further as they cool).
  10. Serve immediately or store for later.

Notes

Thin and even slices cook better and crisp more evenly. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for optimal crispiness.
