Ingredients

  • Sliced turkey breast (leftovers or deli-sliced)
  • Sliced brie cheese
  • Cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • Sourdough, ciabatta, or crusty bread
  • Softened butter
  • Optional: Baby spinach or arugula
  • Optional: Thinly sliced red onions

Instructions

  1. Lay out slices of bread and spread a thin layer of softened butter on one side of each slice.
  2. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer turkey slices, brie cheese, and cranberry sauce. Add optional ingredients like spinach or red onion if desired.
  3. Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side facing out.
  4. Cook in a panini press for 5 minutes or in a skillet on medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side, pressing down with another pan or spatula.
  5. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh bread for the best texture. Don’t overstuff the sandwich to avoid sogginess. Cook on medium heat for even melting and crisping.
