Mini Quiche Lorraine Bites Recipe – Easy Party Favorite

These savory little morsels are the perfect party appetizer, bringing together flaky pastry, creamy eggs, crispy bacon, and just the right amount of cheese to create a bite-sized delight.

  • Pie crust (store-bought or homemade, rolled thin)
  • Bacon (crispy and crumbled)
  • 4 large eggs (at room temperature, whisked)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese (shredded)
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chives (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust on a lightly floured surface. Use a round cookie cutter (about 2.5 inches in diameter) to cut circles. Gently press the circles into the mini muffin tin cavities.
  3. Cook the bacon until crispy and crumble it into small pieces. Set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg until smooth.
  5. Place a few pieces of crumbled bacon in each crust-lined muffin tin. Sprinkle Gruyère cheese on top. Carefully pour the egg mixture over the fillings, filling each crust about 3/4 full.
  6. Place the tin in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly golden on top.
  7. Allow the quiches to cool for 5 minutes before removing them from the tin. Garnish with chopped chives, if desired.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature. To reheat, bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes.
