A quick and easy festive snack mix combining creamy white chocolate with crunchy pretzels, salty nuts, and colorful candy for a perfect holiday treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips
  • 4 cups mini pretzels
  • 4 cups Chex cereal (rice or corn)
  • 1 cup roasted and salted peanuts
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup M&Ms or holiday candy-coated chocolates
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Measure out pretzels, Chex cereal, peanuts, marshmallows, and M&Ms into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
  2. Melt white chocolate chips and melted butter in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring after each, until smooth. Alternatively, melt using a double boiler.
  3. Stir vanilla extract into the melted white chocolate.
  4. Pour melted white chocolate over the dry ingredients and gently fold with a rubber spatula until all pieces are lightly coated, being careful not to break pretzels or crush cereal.
  5. Spread the coated mix evenly onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until the white chocolate is firm.
  7. Break the set mix into bite-sized clusters and store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge.

Notes

Use high-quality white chocolate like Ghirardelli or Nestlé for best melting and flavor. Melt chocolate in short bursts to avoid burning. Chill the mix well before breaking apart to prevent stickiness. For dairy-free, use vegan white chocolate and coconut oil instead of butter. For gluten-free, use certified gluten-free pretzels and cereal.
