A quick and easy festive snack mix combining creamy white chocolate with crunchy pretzels, salty nuts, and colorful candy for a perfect holiday treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips
  • 4 cups mini pretzels
  • 4 cups Chex cereal (rice or corn)
  • 1 cup roasted and salted peanuts
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup M&Ms or holiday candy-coated chocolates
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Measure out pretzels, Chex cereal, peanuts, marshmallows, and M&Ms into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
  2. Melt white chocolate chips and melted butter in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring after each, until smooth. Alternatively, melt using a double boiler.
  3. Stir vanilla extract into the melted white chocolate.
  4. Pour melted white chocolate over the dry ingredients and gently fold with a rubber spatula until all pieces are lightly coated, being careful not to break pretzels or crush cereal.
  5. Spread the coated mix evenly onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until the white chocolate is firm.
  7. Break the set mix into bite-sized clusters and store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge.

Notes

Use high-quality white chocolate like Ghirardelli or NestlΓ© for best melting and flavor. Melt chocolate in short bursts to avoid burning. Chill the mix well before breaking apart to prevent stickiness. For dairy-free, use vegan white chocolate and coconut oil instead of butter. For gluten-free, use certified gluten-free pretzels and cereal.
