Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by laying out a clean cutting board or flat surface and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim the crusts off each slice of bread using a serrated knife to create crustless slices.
  3. Optional: Spread a thin layer of softened butter or peanut butter on one side of each bread slice to help seal and prevent sogginess.
  4. Spread about 1 to 1.5 tablespoons (0.5 to 0.75 oz) of strawberry jam evenly on half of the bread slices, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Place the plain bread slice on top of the jam-covered slice, with buttered sides facing the jam if butter was used.
  6. Using the rim of a drinking glass or a round cookie cutter (about 3 inches / 7.5 cm diameter), press firmly down onto the sandwich to seal the edges and cut out a neat circle. Twist slightly for a tighter seal.
